Big East
Louisville 25-5 (13-4) #3 RPI. Pretty high RPI eh? LOL. 4 Tournament quality BE wins plus Memphis and Missouri which isn't much to write home about unless you continue to win and win big. Translation? Finish off Notre Dame and win the BET for any slim consideration for that Final #1 seed and yes I know I have them there now,but with Duke,Kansas and more than likely the BTT winner if it's one of ( Indiana,Michigan,Michigan State} coupled with Gonzaga probably holding on to the last #1 seed the Cardinals must win and win big.
Georgetown 23-5 (13-4) #12 RPI. Finish off Syracuse and then read my thoughts on Louisville because the same goes for the Hoyas.
Marquette 22-7 (13-4) #11 RPI. I think if the Eagles can win the BET they can climb to a #2 or #3 seed.
Notre Dame 23-7 (11-6) #44 RPI. Their RPI has to be a Non Conference issue because there's not much there. 5 BE wins against Tourney teams is more than enough though. Congrats!
Pittsburgh 23-7 (11-6) #38 RPI. Like Notre Dame yet another team with a miserable Non Conference slate. At the end of the day I wouldn't be surprised if both were punished seed wise. Like Notre Dame they also have 5 BE wins against Tournament teams with 3 of them on the road, which is significant since the Committee likes Road Warriors.
Syracuse 23-7 (11-6) #17 RPI. Did I just type 23-7 and 11-6 for the 3rd straight time? Yes! Am I already 5 teams deep before I mention Syracuse? OMG Yes! I guess that's what happens when you go thru a Kansas like swoon in late February/early March, but they are sporting 4 BE wins against Tourney teams plus San Diego State in an otherwise laughable Non Conference slate. #5 seed sounds about right.
Villanova 19-12 (10-8) #52 RPI. Haven't even mentioned the Bearcats yet Hmmm. As for the Wildcats they are the Ultimate Lords of the Home Court Heroe's teams. Home wins over Louisville,Syracuse,Marquette and G'Town pretty much lock it up and especially so with the win over the Hoyas and avoiding that 14 loss plateau of which I've never seen a team with 14 losses make the field.
Cincinnati 20-10 (8-9) #47 RPI. Bearcat fans shouldn't worry because after all UCONN got in last year with an 8-10 Conf record, but I wouldn't recommend losing to USF tomorrow. Wins over Nova,Marquette,Pittsburgh and Iowa State should be more than enough to keep them safe on the Super Charmin soft bubble.
