Updated to reflect Boise State's monster win over Colorado State. As already noted earlier Boise finishes with a plethoria of chances to pad the resume and stay locked into the field.
Boy did the SEC die a slow death today or what!

Kentucky loses to Arkansas. So did Florida, but the Wildcats are now back walking on that tight rope. The Bubble is way too soft to drop them out yet.

Alabama loses to Florida. Not normally a big deal except Alabama has no quality wins and this was probably their last shot at one.

Tennessee loses to Georgia. Pretty much unacceptable, but they still have a slight chance of getting in.

Ole Miss loses to Miss St. Beyond unacceptable when you consider that several teams have pounded the Bulldogs by 30 + points. Ole Miss just packed it's bags to the NIT.

So what does it mean? Good question!

If this bubble wasn't already soft it just became Super Charmin Soft! It has got to the point now where there are no more "Bubble" teams, but just teams with "Bad Resumes" where you can put em in a hat, pick out names and boom they're in the Tournament. That's where we're at folks!

So please welcome, drumroll please! St.Mary's and Villanova back into the Tournament. I've got Maryland back on my radar assuming Wichita State loses to someone they shouldn't in the MVC Tourney {Which is likely the way they're playing}.

Most people are probably wondering why everyone is falling in love with Boise State here at the last minute or why some of us have had a change of heart. Here's my reasoning for it. They're an exciting basketball team for one who plays in I believe the #2 rated RPI Conference if not the #1 according to some models. I also realize the MWC isn't the #1 or #2 Conference in America, but I have no problem calling it a Top 5 Conference as others are quickly catching up.

Here's the biggest thing with the Bronco's. Their resume of UNLV/Creighton wins is nothing special. It's actually pretty similar to North Carolina's resume, but I've never seen a team have the following opportunity to LOCK up a bid.

They finish with Colorado State,@ UNLV and San Diego State. Then there's the MWC Tournament where they'll be in the 4/5 game. A chance to then beat the #1 seed and then a chance to beat the #2/#3 seed.

Boise State has up to 6 games remaining and all of them would be against Tournament teams, which is why I'm sure most are predicting Boise to win at least 2-3 of these games at a bare minimum. Lock up a bid and pad the resume.
Not an actual update for today as my update last night went up after the Matrix updated so this is just a technical update when the matrix updates again and I'm assuming it will be before the night is out.
